EMBODIED RELATING
Somatic Workshops for Authentic Connection
Upcoming Workshop in October
Foundations of the Workshop
A gentle invitation for couples and individuals to slow down, become more aware of the patterns that shape your relationships, and discover new possibilities for authentic connection.
Guided Experience
We blend brief teachings, guided, mindfulness based exercises, partner and group exploration, and time for personal reflection, creating an experience that is both structured and spacious, allowing for integration.
Embodied Awareness
Develop greater awareness of the patterns that shape your relationships, while learning to stay present with attachment activation, build internal resources, and discover new possibilities for more meaningful connection.
Supportive Environment
Every workshop is grounded in respect, consent, curiosity, and choice. Together we create a space that supports comfort, meaningful exploration, and authentic participation.
Experienced Facilitation
Facilitated with warmth, clarity, and depth, offering thoughtful guidance while honoring each person's pace, autonomy, and lived experience, creating space for genuine exploration and expansion.
The body often knows before the mind understands. Relationships begin to change when we learn to listen.
What You’ll Experience
Embodied Relating is a guided, mindfulness based workshop designed to help you better understand yourself in relationship. We begin with a brief introduction to attachment, the nervous system, and present-moment awareness, exploring how our experiences in relationship become embodied and shape our felt sense of ourselves, others, and the world around us. Together, we'll explore how protective relational patterns gradually take shape through repeated experiences and continue to influence the ways we move toward, away from, or against one another in relationship.
From there, we'll move into guided somatic practices that cultivate greater awareness of your embodied experience. Throughout the afternoon, we'll explore relationship through a series of partner and group exercises designed to bring relational patterns into awareness as they naturally emerge. Rather than trying to change these patterns immediately, we'll first learn to recognize and understand them with curiosity and compassion.
As the workshop unfolds, we'll develop greater grounding, internal resources, and awareness before returning to similar relational experiences. This allows us to notice how our patterns begin to shift as we become more present, connected, and able to respond with greater choice and flexibility.
There will be opportunities throughout the afternoon to pause, reflect, and share observations with the group, recognizing that learning happens not only through the exercises themselves, but also through witnessing your own experience and hearing the perspectives of others. Midway through the workshop, we'll enjoy a nourishing break with tea and refreshments, including options that accommodate common dietary needs. We conclude with time for integration, reflection, and practical ways to carry what you've discovered into your everyday relationships.
Workshop Schedule
The afternoon is intentionally designed to unfold at a comfortable pace, moving between teaching, experiential exercises, partner and group exploration. Each part builds on the last, creating space for curiosity, reflection, and meaningful connection.

Meet Your Facilitator
For more than twenty years, I've worked alongside individuals, couples, and groups, helping people understand the patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and to one another. Throughout my career, I've been drawn to the transformative potential of relationship as a place for healing, growth, and deeper connection.
Embodied Relating brings together the relational, somatic, and experiential approaches that have shaped my work, integrating attachment, parts work, nervous system awareness, and mindfulness into a supportive group setting. Rather than simply talking about relationships, we'll experience them together—discovering new possibilities through greater awareness, choice, and embodied presence.
Grounded in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, attachment theory, somatic neuroscience, and Buddhist psychology, I facilitate these workshops with warmth, curiosity, and respect, creating a space where people can explore at their own pace while feeling supported and welcomed.
