Embodied Psychotherapy

Individual Psychotherapy: $165 per 55 minute session, extended sessions prorated accordingly Recommended Frequency: Biweekly or as needed, based on clinical goals and consultation focus

Psychotherapy is offered using Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory–informed approaches, and EMDR, and is provided to adults through individual, couples, and group work. The work is grounded in warmth, compassion, and careful pacing, supporting safety and trust in the therapeutic process.

Therapy explores how lived experiences shape beliefs about the self and the world, how these beliefs are held within the nervous system, and how they influence emotional patterns, relationships, and ways of moving through life. Attention is given to understanding protective strategies, caring for younger or vulnerable parts of the self, and strengthening the capacity to relate from a resourced adult state.

The therapeutic process supports integration of internal experience, increased nervous system flexibility, and access to adaptive responses that arise naturally when safety and support are present. The work emphasizes depth, relational awareness, and sustainable change.

This is a general psychotherapy practice with specialization in trauma, attachment and developmental injury, PTSD, CPTSD, relational health, sexuality, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

“What sets Heather apart is her ability to go deep. She helped us explore our long-standing family patterns, showing us how they impacted our marriage and giving us the tools to break those cycles so we can be the parents we truly want to be.”

Embodied Couples Therapy

Couples Psychotherapy: $180 per 60 minute session, extended sessions prorated accordingly Recommended Frequency: Weekly or bi-weekly

Couples psychotherapy supports authentic connection through an Internal Family Systems–informed approach integrated with somatic and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy methods. The work focuses on strengthening connection to self and partner while developing healthier communication, emotional regulation, sexuality, intimacy, and overall relational functioning.

This approach is holistic, integrating both reflective and experiential exploration of attachment patterns, family-of-origin influences, and relational dynamics. Couples are supported in developing greater awareness of their internal experience—including parts, somatic cues, and nervous system responses—as they arise within the relationship, as well as understanding their partner through both cognitive and felt experience.

Couples therapy attends to deeper relational patterning and interactional cycles while also addressing present-day challenges. The work is grounded in evidence-based relational skills and interventions, supporting increased safety, clarity, and flexibility within intimate and family relationships.
